The LALI–Center Working Group is a new forum for faculty and students interested in the intersections of languages, literatures, cultures, and emerging technologies. The name brings together LLC and AI, and it also echoes the Greek root lali-/lalia, meaning “speech” or “voice.” That matters to us because this group is meant to be a space for conversation: rigorous, cross-disciplinary, and practical, focused on how new tools are reshaping research, language teaching, and public engagement.
